Summary: Modern AU in which Charles and Erik are flatmates. Charles studies psychology and likes tea and chess and keeps bringing home stray kittens, and Erik lets him because he's maybe perhaps a little bit sort of in love with him.

Notes: The first thing I said after watching the movie was BUT WHY COULDN'T THEY STAY FRIENDS AND LIVE TOGETHER HAPPILY AND ADOPT KITTENS. I felt that kittens were necessary to fill the hole that the beach divorce tore in my chest. So between last night and this morning I wrote this. I have no regrets, not even for the Shaw!cat.
