Title: A Gentleman and a Lady
Fandom: Professor Layton
Characters: Claire/Layton
Words: ~600
Rating: PG
Warnings: minor spoilers for Unwound Future
Summary: Layton and Claire's date doesn't go exactly as planned.
Beta: my sister, who refused to be credited
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] spunkywulf for the [livejournal.com profile] layton_exchange. I don't know much about her taste in fanfiction but I was too awed by her talent to give her some of my crappy art.

When she'd first met him, Claire had tried to imagine how it would be to date Hershel Layton. )

Title: Turnabout Puzzle
Fandom: Phoenix Wright & Professor Layton crossover
Characters: Phoenix Wright, Hershel Layton, Maya, Luke
Words: ~1,000
Rating: PG
Warnings: none
Summary: Layton and Phoenix hang out at a café. Predictably, Layton is reminded of a puzzle.
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] mizunosakura (and also my sister, who refused to be credited)
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] artrica for the [livejournal.com profile] layton_exchange. I jumped at the chance of writing a crossover between those two. Since I know nothing about the crossover game (apart that it'll be epic) I made up things about those four's friendship. The puzzle about the three teacups isn't made up, I got it from 'The Canterbury Puzzles' by Dudeney. Despite Nick's objections, Layton is right: every puzzle has an answer.

With miles and miles of ocean between the States and England, it wasn't as if Phoenix and Maya got to hang out with Luke and the Professor very often. )
