waywardmixes's eight challenge: rare pairs. Sometimes I get awesome ideas for mixes, sometimes I don't, and then I end up falling on old favourites and mixing them with a healthy dose of crack because there's only one day left and I don't want to drop out. So I like Loki/Thor and Steve/Tony like everyone should but I also can't help feeling that Loki and Tony together would be awesome and terrible and self-destructing in the best worst possible way. Tony Stark is a self-proclaimed genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. He likes inventing stuff and having sex and drinking and flying around in his Iron Man suit. He's secretly a ball of angst but hides it behind sarcasm because he doesn't want anyone to care.

Loki is an alien demigod who recently found out he was adopted and didn't take it well. First he tried to become king of Asgard, then he made a shady deal with some other aliens and he tried to conquer the Earth. Neither ended well for him.

There's enough similarities for them to take interest in each other. Together, they have way more daddy issues than is healthy. They're both wounded people and they chose completely opposite ways of coping, one becoming a superhero, one becoming a villain.
